Now we’re testing implementation Sphinx + SOLR inside search

Today our developers make some test to migrate the old search engine algorithm to a new one. Before this, we use Sphinx and FULL TEXT MySQL inside our Doocu search system. Now, we’re trying to implement a new collaboration between SOLR and SPHINX.

It’s still in private and not available for public yet. But, if you’re curious what it’s looks like, this is a screenshot of searching with “test” keyword

Edit Your Profile and Avatar with A Single Click

Yes, we called it the magic of AJAX. We know that thousand of web developers have implemented this technique and absolutely not something new. However, this slight improvement intended to help increase your experience in using Doocu’s app as it reduce the load for users to open a new page when editing their profile.

So, go and give it a shot. As soon as you’re logged in, the Edit menu and Edit Profile is located just below your profile info.
